Kathleen Judge has practiced massage in Portland since 1993. Her specialties include deep tissue Swedish massage. She uses heated river rocks for soothing and effective release of tension from tight, sore muscles and tendons. Other soft tissue massage techniques include proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) and the Dalton Technique. Both involve patient participation that can result in the release of hypertonic (tight) muscles.
Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University where she focused on sustainability subjects like the Soil Food Web, sustainable food and water systems, all of which have immediate impacts on the healthcare industry. She holds a certificate from East West College of the Healing Arts and has been a member of the American Massage Therapy Association for 16 years.
